Why are the creators of portable media devices still choosing conventional Radio waves over DAB?
I’m guessing its to do with the strength requirement of the signal (conventional radio waves can afford to have poor signal strength but Digital waves can’t), but does anyone know the answer for sure?
I can think of a good reason and that is that all countries do not have Digital Radio. We will all loose FM when DAB takes over in 2012. DAB signals will be boosted just like TV.
